As mentioned in the Restricted Keying Solutions article, Everything Locks offers a signature restricted system available for any budget and offers the same level of security as the other name brands.
Everything Locks has partnered with General Lock, a high-quality, generic brand of door hardware and security products.
Our signature restricted keying solution involves a patented, restricted keyway that hardware stores and other locksmiths will not offer (or are not legally authorized to service). Each key is stamped with our serial number, for identification purposes, and your choice of stamping (optional - $0.15 per character). Cylinder formats include (but do not limit to) KIK, Rim, and Mortise in your choice of finish. Other options may be available. Reach out to us with any questions.
How it Works
Our signature system is available to purchase through our online store. Even though this is the case, we still prefer communication in advance as there is more paperwork involved before order fulfillment.
A buy-in (or minimum purchase is not required).
Ordering the First Time
When you place an order in-store, we require additional documentation to be completed, signed, and returned before fulfillment. The steps are as follows:

We cannot fulfill orders for blank restricted keys and/or un-pinned high-security cylinders. The same includes custom key cutting and/or cylinder pinning requests. Everything Locks is required to randomly generate key cuts and cylinder pinning patterns.

An authorization form completed and signed by the purchaser (owner) of the system. Things to consider include:
Additional, active users of the system can be added who are authorized to place orders for original or duplicate cut keys, pinned cylinders, and if the system needs modified (i.e., Adding change keys to a master system). Their signature(s) are required. You are not limited to the number of authorized purchasers on a system.
When adding authorized users, it may be beneficial to plan for a method of payment to avoid individual out-of-pocket purchases. Reach out to us if you require any additional purchasing restrictions.
If you are the owner of the system and wish to be informed anytime an authorized user places an order, please reach out to us to set up this option.
If you are not ordering locally and require specific shipping options (such as a signature on delivery), please let us know before order fulfillment.
The order is reviewed, authorization documentation is filed, and the order is fulfilled.

This does not include if you are purchasing additional keys already generated and sold by Everything Locks. In other words, you can order duplicate cylinders and/or keys, but not new keys with your custom key cuts and/or pinning patterns.
Already having a restricted keying solution through Everything Locks allows you to change or modify the layout of your system.
You are permitted to upload an existing master keying chart, written and designed by Everything Locks, with the layout details of the new purchase highlighted or written-out.
The order is reviewed, authorization documentation is cross-referenced, and the order is fulfilled. Additional communication may be sent, depending on the purchaser's communication requirements.
